“Myths and Mirrors” incorporates signifiers of the art historically reverend and combines them with the ruins of discarded paintings, mixing pop culture with ancient mythology and connecting the creative process with a creative narrative to produce a ‘mystical guardian’ of self expression, imagination and desire.” - James Gortner
